Scope of DOE Activities

At the Rivne nuclear power plant, DOE efforts focus primarily on improving the safety of day-to-day operations at the plant. DOE projects include developing emergency operating instructions (1993-ongoing), improving operator training (1997-ongoing), and performing in-depth safety assessments (1997-ongoing).
