Scope of DOE Activities

DOE's efforts at the plant are directed primarily toward improving the safety of day-to-day operations. Projects include development of improved operating procedures and practices (1992-1994), performance of plant safety analyses (1993-1996), and transfer of capabilities for performing plant safety assessments (1996-ongoing).
